Today is World Mission Sunday and also at all Masses we pray for the success of the COP26 UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, which starts in a week’s time. The Diakonia group have prepared an information sheet, which you can download below, on how we can all make a personal commitment to action.

As Fr Michael mentioned at Mass at the weekend this Saturday’s evening Mass will be celebrated in several languages and we will be joined by young people from the other Notre-Dame parishes – everyone welcome.

Following the meeting with parents last Saturday the registration process has started for children who will make their First Holy communion in June 2022. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the parish office:

Reminder: there is a meeting this coming Saturday 16 October at 4pm in the Church of St Alphonse for the parents of children who would like to take part in the preparation programme to receive their First Holy Communion in 2022. Children should have reached their 8th birthday by 1 January 2022. Details of registration, the programme and dates and times of classes will be given at this meeting.
