Registration has opened for First Holy Communion. Before registering please watch the Power Point and then download and complete the forms below. All forms should be returned to the parish office by 7 November 2022 with the 100 Euro fee – please email the Excel registration form and post the data protection and photo permission forms (if you did not complete them at the meeting). The first class is Sunday 13 November at 5pm in the Church of St Alphonse.

To receive the sacraments of Reconciliation (First Confession) and Holy Communion, each child must have been baptised. A certificate of baptism must be attached to their application for First Holy Communion (these certificates can be obtained from the parish where the child was baptised) or sent to the parish office by 1 December 2022.

The whole programme, including preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation (First Confession) is delivered in English; therefore it is essential, for children to obtain maximum benefit from the programme, that they are able to communicate and understand independently in English: speaking, listening, reading, writing.

Eligibility

Children should have reached their 8th birthday by 1 January 2023 to make their First Holy Communion in June 2023. Alternative arrangements can be made for older children.
