Please include FHC and name of the child in the communication. 

There is an important enrolment meeting for all parents (and children) on Sunday 25th October after the 11:00 Mass in Belair Church.

Please email the data protection and photo release forms – electronic signatures are acceptable.

The first class is Sunday 15th November at 10:00 before Mass.  The catechists will contact you directly with the arrangements.

To receive the sacraments of Reconciliation (First Confession) and Holy Communion, each child must have been baptised. A certificate of baptism must be attached to the application for First Holy Communion (these certificates can be obtained from the parish where the child was baptised) or sent to the parish office by 1 December 2026.

The whole programme, including preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation (First Confession) is delivered in English; therefore, it is essential, for children to obtain maximum benefit from the programme, that they are able to communicate and understand independently in English: speaking, listening, reading, writing.

Eligibility

Children should have reached their 8th birthday by 1 January 2027 to make their First Holy Communion in June 2027. Alternative arrangements can be made for older children.
