Full-time carer required

An elderly lady in the Centre-Ville needs a carer Monday-Friday, live in, for 24 hour care. The carer would need to be a French speaker and willing to cook, assist with mobility and undertake housekeeping tasks. World Day of Migrants & Refugees – Sunday 26 September

Each parish has been called to celebrate World Day of Migrants and Refugees by Pope Francis in his message ‘Towards an ever wider We’ and Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich supports this in his letter below.

Please read the letter below with the detail of the 11.30am Mass which will be celebrated at St Alphonse and the church will be decorated with the work of a local artist.

As part of the challenge to mark the occasion there will be a collection of coloured pencils and felt-tip pens for children in refugee centres.

Fun event for Ilula Orphanage Program – Saturday 11 September

IOP has been chosen as the charity being supported by this year’s Discover Luxembourg event, Why not support us by organising a team in this fun event that is taking place on Saturday 11 September? Teams comprise 4 people who learn about the social, cultural, gastronomic, technical and economic aspects of Luxembourg, by following a route of 6.25 km and competing in a number of challenges along the way. Child care urgently required

Family within our church community would like to engage someone immediately for part-time (non-live-in) childcare help (age 5).  This would entail helping 3-5 times per week in the afternoons (depending on availability).  Communication in English OR French language.  Previous child-care experience appreciated.  Location: Belair.  Please contact the parish office in the first instance: parish@catholic.lu
