English-speaking pilgrimage to the Holy Land, March 2023

Fr Ed, Fr Michael’s predecessor, has kindly extended an invitation to the English-speaking Community of Luxembourg to join a pilgrimage to the Holy Land in March next year, with him, students and other members of the community at St Edmund’s College, Cambridge.

The pilgrimage will be led by Fr Pablo de Lima, an experienced and well-regarded guide to the Holy Land; he is resident in St Edmund’s, Cambridge. Please note travel will start from London Heathrow on Friday 17 March and travel to Heathrow is not included in the price.

Requiem Mass for Fr Anthony Mulvey CSsR, RIP- today, 7 November

At the end of last week we learnt that Fr Anthony Mulvey CSsR, the first English-speaking priest appointed to Luxembourg, died peacefully in St Joseph’s Monastery, Dundalk, at the age of 100.

According to St Joseph’s website, the Mass is scheduled for 11.00am GMT, ie 12 noon in Luxembourg.

Reminder – final weekend for the Shoebox appeal

The Shoe Box appeal closes 6 November. Please drop off your completed boxes at the weekend Masses. This year our boxes will be delivered to Ukraine, Moldova and Romania.

However you can still make a donation to the appeal this weekend and the Shoe Box team will fill a box on your behalf – 30 Euro per box. You can make your donation via the parish bank account – please mark the reference ‘ Shoe Box Appeal’:
