If you are attending Mass at St Alphonse this weekend, please wear your national costume (if you have one!) or wear your national colours for Pentecost Sunday to represent ‘all the voices’ and to reflect the truly international profile of our community.

What do you pray for?

In today’s Gospel, Jesus prays to God his Father.

He prays for his friends, the disciples.

He asks God to keep them safe.

He asks God to keep them together in his love.

He asks God to help them enjoy all the wonderful things in life.

And he says that when God helps his friends in this way, so his friends will pray to God to help their friends in the same way.
