Children’s Liturgy online – 27 September 2020
If your mum or dad asks you to help with a job, what do you say? Yes or No?
More importantly, what do you do?
In today’s Gospel, Jesus tells us about a father who asked his older son to help in his vineyard. The son at first said “no”, he didn’t want to. But then he changed his mind and went to work in the vineyard.
Later in the day, the father asked his second son to help in the vineyard. He said “yes, of course”… But then he went off and did something else instead.
Which son do you think did what his father asked?
The one who said he would help or the one who actually went and helped in the vineyard?
Jesus’ message for us today is that it doesn’t matter what you SAY, it matters what you DO.
What can you do to help others like God the Father asks us to?

Back to School Mass with the Cardinal
The Archbishop of Luxembourg, Jean-Claude Cardinal Hollerich, will celebrate Mass for all secondary students of the European School.

Urgent need for volunteers at Mass.
As a community we are delighted to be able to have 3 Masses at the weekend (2 on Sunday and Saturday Vigil) but we do need more volunteers in order for all the Masses to continue. Please seriously consider volunteering for one of the following ministries or rotas and contact the parish office for more information: parish@catholic.lu
- Serving as a Eucharistic Minister
- Serving as a Reader
- Serving as a Welcomer to assist with preparing the church for Mass and seating the congregation safely.
