Baby items for donation

A family in our community has a very smart folding travel cot/ bed (suitable for infants 0-3 years old) and 3 stair / safety gates that they would like to donate. If you could make use of these items please contact the parish office.

We also have a baby changing/ bathing table, cots and car seats in store here available for donation – please email: parish@catholic.lu

Children’s Liturgy – 11 October 2020

“Come to the feast!”

The Children’s Liturgy takes place this Sunday at 11:15 in the Garden Room. The children will join Mass in St Alphonse at the Offertory.

Children aged between 3 and 7 are invited to take part. They must be registered – forms are available if needed.

Meditation and Trauma

The World Community for Christian Meditation (WCCM) is hosting an on-line symposium and workshop entitled: Meditation as a Healing Response to Trauma in the afternoons of Thursday 15th and Friday 16th October. Details here: http://www.meditatio.co.uk/meditation-as-a-healing-reponse-to-trauma/

The event will focus particularly on the trauma experienced by refugees and will not be specifically Christian in its orientation. The registration fee can be waived for refugees or anyone else who is unable to afford it – in that case contact Marcella McCarthy by email or by phone: 691 435 788
