A number of religion classes are under threat at the European School.  The reason is that the number of children required by the school in order to ‘justify’ a religion class has been raised from 5 to 7.The 6th year class for the 2011 – 2012 school year has already been cancelled.   When the second European School opens in Mamer in 2012 further classes will be threatened with closure, as there will be  fewer students in each class.  We ask you to click on the links below and sign the petition that applies to you.  One petition, as you see, is for parishioners in general, the other is for parents who have children at the European school.
