Last Saturday 14 May, children and families from our English-speaking Community made a pilgrimage from St Alphonse to the Cathedral to celebrate the Octave of Our Lady, Mother of God.

We began in our Church, learning the story of the Octave and exploring the house of God in a treasure hunt.

We then set off on our pilgrimage through the streets of Luxembourg City, singing on the way!

At the Cathedral, we met the other language communities and were welcomed by Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich, the leader of the Church in Luxembourg.

We gathered around the statue of Our Lady of Luxembourg to say special prayers and receive her blessing.

It was a beautiful, fun and memorable day!
