A family involved in our parish have recently been given resident status in Luxembourg, and are moving to new accommodation. They have immediate needs: firstly for a DVD player to facilitate their language course learning; secondly, for a microwave oven; and thirdly (and more modestly!) mugs, for drinking tea and coffee.
If you can help with any of these items, please get in touch. We can collect if necessary.
Thank you for your continued generosity.

Confirmation classes begin on Tuesday 18th October at the Centre Jean XXIII (the Grand Seminar).
Full details, including an application form, can be found here: confirmation-information-2016-7
How to find the Centre Jean XXIII
From Kirchberg:
Take the road tunnel alongside the Philharmonie; at the end of the tunnel, turn right, and descend the hill. At the bottom of the hill (rue du Fort Thüengen) turn left on to rue Jules Wilhelm. You will pass under the Hemicycle
.
The Centre Jean XXIII is the first turning on the right in 50m. (photo of entrance below). The driveway is 500m long — continue to the car parks at the top of the drive, and enter the main entrance.
From Clausen/Youth Hostel
Pass the Youth Hostel on your left, and cross the small bridge over the river, and turn right. 10m on, turn left onto rue Jules Wilhelm. Stay on this (long, winding) road. You will pass under Hemicycle. Follow directions as above.
I’m happy to give full details of the parish Retreat Day which is planned for 12th November at the Centre Jean XXIII, near Kirchberg.
The flyer which contains all the information can be found here: retreat-flyer-1 and the application form here retreat-form. Book early to avoid disappointment.
Thanks,
Fr Ed
