So far we have one foot volunteered for the washing of feet at Holy Thursday’s Mass of the Lord’s Supper. We urgently need another 11 feet… Please, volunteer a foot. You will be invited forward after the homily, your foot will be washed and dried, and that’s it. Washing the disciples’ feet was the way in which Jesus demonstrated that he came to serve — upsetting many people’s ideas of how the Messiah would present himself. Thank you in advance. Fr Ed.

MARCH FOR CHOICE
Archbishop Hollerich is encouraging parents and others to stand up and be counted in expressing our opinion on the necessity of keeping Christian education in our schools. In his letter Word of Encouragement (FR), he asks us to join in the March for Choice (FR) on Saturday 26 April. Fr Ed.

SINGING INTO THE FUTURE!
We are hoping to have a choir to continue to enhance our liturgy, along with the music group already in place. There are two events to prepare for, one immediate — next Sunday, Palm Sunday. The other is our Mass for the Octav, which is on Sunday 21 May. If you have a voice (not necessarily a good one) and are willing to sing, do come along. The rehearsals will be each Tuesday evening in the church of St Alphonse — April 8th, 15th, 29th and May 4th — all Tuesdays, all between 19:00 & 20:00. All welcome! Fr Ed
