Fund manager seeking employment

A regular attender at our Masses at St Alphonse is looking for help in finding a job in Luxembourg. She is well-known to me, and I can recommend her from a faith-engagement point of view.

She writes “I was born in Africa grew up in France, and graduated in New York. After over fifteen years in the fund business in Luxembourg, I went to Africa with the entire family.

We are back now and I looking for a position. I am flexible and a quick learner. I would very much appreciate if you could keep me in mind when you meet people that might need my service.

I would not mind relocating or working with international charity organisations or any institution involved in African development.

I will happily send you my CV, in English.”

If you have any useful hints/leads/connections, please contact the parish office and we will put you in direct contact. Thank you.

Pentecost Masses

This weekend we celebrate the great feast of Pentecost — the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples. Our weekend Masses are as usual, 19:00 Saturday (Vigil), 11:15 & 19:00 Sunday.

Monday 10th June, Mass at 11:00

(there is also Mass in French at 07:30 & 18:15)

Outdoor Mass & BBQ

This annual event will take place Sunday 30th June at 11:15 in the garden of the Archbishop’s residence (obviously there will be no Mass at St Alphonse that morning). As usual, we will need all kinds of help: erecting tents, arranging tables and chairs, staffing the bbq grills, serving drinks, controlling tickets etc. There will be a short meeting after the 11.15 Mass Sunday 9 June in the garden room (the other side of the parking). Please come along if you are able to help in any way, or email the parish office if you cannot attend the meeting: parish@catholic.lu

The organisation can be hard work, but the more of us that are involved, the more the load is spread. And the day is always worth it!
