The Irish cultural organisation Comhaltas are celebrating St Patrick’s Day early this year with a Ceili in Gasperich on Saturday 14 March.

The event will give participants the chance to try traditional country dancing, which will be explained to beginners with the help of an announcer/caller.

Summer Bulletin 2012

The latest Summer bulletin can be found on the bulletin page or by following the link below:-

Owing to pressures due to my imminent departure (packing etc.), I will have to make this a very brief bulletin, omitting the usual preliminaries (schedules  of masses, confessions , arrangements for baptisms and marriages etc.).

A FINAL WORD OF THANKS

As this will be my last bulletin, I would like to take the occasion to say a deeply-felt word of thanks to all our parishioners who have made me feel so much at home over the past 13 years of my time in Luxembourg.  I have experienced nothing but warmth and friendliness and wonderful cooperation.  I would like to mention  individuals by name, but it might be odious, as I would surely leave someone out who should be mentioned.   But maybe I’ll get a chance to do that later, on September 30th, when we have our farewell dinner at the Franciscan sisters.  For the present, then, I wish you one and all a very good and relaxing summer vacation and look forward to  seeing you all again on the 8th and 9th September.

God bless you all.

Eamonn Breslin, parish priest.
