Our Christian Meditation group wishes to publicise the following event:

The theme the WCCM (World Community for Christian Meditation)  have chosen to highlight next year 2022 is Unified Consciousness: One Mind One Heart. During the coming year starting on January 18^th there will be a series of online speakers approaching the topic from different perspectives.  To launch this theme WCCM director  Fr. Laurence Freeman OSB  will be in dialogue with the Dalai Lama on December 1^st . Further information can be found by  clicking on this link.

On Saturday 4 December there is the opportunity to attend a concert in aid of the SoS Children’s Villages Latvian Mission. The Advent programme of music will include contributions from renowned Latvian singers. Please see the attached poster and flyer for further information on the programme and how to get tickets. Please note that this a Covid Check event.

The social workers at the refugee /asylum-seeker reception centre (Centre de Primo-Acceuil,  293 route d’Arlon, Strassen) are looking for a volunteer to help a weekly women’s sewing group.
