We have collected 395 gift-filled boxes for deprived children in Eastern Europe.  Thank you to everyone for packing boxes, sponsoring pre-packed boxes, donating bulk items or money, sewing and knitting items, attending our stand, and last but not least loading and unloading the boxes for transportation. Along with friends from the Anglican parish, more than twenty people, including several young people, came to plant eight trees on Saturday 9 November – and then enjoyed a barbecue lunch. Many thanks to everyone who took part and especially to Liz and Stuart for letting us plant them on their field.  Here are a few photos of the occasion:

 The Logopédie Reception Centre is running a knitting and crochet project and would appreciate donations of wool.  There is a collecting box for wool at the back of church by the tea/coffee table if you have any spare balls of wool to donate.  Thank you!
