British-Irish film festival 2024

The annual British Irish film festival commences Monday 16 September. The press release is attached below. The opening film is detailed below:

BLURRED LINES, showing Tuesday 17 September @ 20.15 at the Cinémathèque, is of particular interest to some members of our community as Siobhan Aislinn, screen writer and actor, is the daughter of Helen and Ken in our community. See if you can spot some other well known faces in this film as extras!!

Papal visit to Luxembourg 26 September

Cardinal Hollerich warmly invites us to apply for a place during the visit of the Holy Father, Pope Frances, to Luxembourg on Thursday 26 September when he meets the Luxembourg community in the cathedral of Notre-Dame or an adjoining tent. Places are limited and there are no guarantees of getting a place even if you apply before the deadline. The window opens 3 September.
