Today is the Feast Saints Peter & Paul

Today’s Readings
First Reading  Acts 12:1-11  Peter is miraculously released from prison by an angel of the Lord.

Second Reading  2 Timothy 4:6-8, 17-18  Paul is looking back on his life as an apostle of Christ, and looking forward to heaven.

Gospel  Matthew 16:13-19  Peter professes his faith in Jesus as the Messiah, and Jesus confirms him as the rock on which the Church will be built.
