Car Parking closed

This weekend, 11/12 March, the parking in the garden of St Alphonse will be closed due to the installation of a new automated gate system.

Apologies for the inconvenience. We already have severe parking problems due to the numbers at Mass, and we will address these however we can in the near future.

Thank you,

Stations of the Cross exhibition

Stations of the Cross: watercolours painted by Thomas Burke whilst a prisoner of war in 1943 are on display at the back of church. This is a rare opportunity to see these unusual stations. There will be an illustrated talk about the artist and a devotional reflection on the stations in church next Wednesday, 15th March at 7pm. All welcome. Flyer here: About Thomas Burke

No Confessions this week

Tomorrow, Saturday 11th March, I will be on the Marche des Pères, walking from Trois Vierges to Clairvaux, accompanying fathers of families, praying for family life and celebrating the upcoming feast of St Joseph. Consequently, I will not be available in St Alphonse for confessions. On Sunday 19th March, I will celebrate the sacrament after the 11:15 Mass, for all who wish to avail of this opportunity.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

We can now confirm the dates of our Lourdes pilgrimage: 28th July – 4th August 2017. We are currently negotiating transport arrangements and associated costs, but the price for full-board accommodation in Lourdes will be €530 per adult, €260 for children/young people aged 2-15.

When we have more details, they will be published here on catholic.lu

Early subscription advised.
