Volunteers needed for mobile library for refugees

The Red Cross sponsors a mobile library for refugees and volunteers are needed to help with the visits, usually on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.  No special skills are necessary, just a smile and some knowledge of either French or Luxembourgish
would be an enormous plus.

Theobar 5th Anniversary Event

Theobar will be celebrating its 5th anniversary with a special event on Wednesday 6 February at 19:30 at the Big Beer Company, 12 Rives de Clausen, L-2165 Luxembourg.  This will be a panel discussion on faith in Luxembourg and Europe; one of the speakers will be Mgr Jean-Claude Hollerich, Archbishop of Luxembourg.  The topic for debate will be the role and future of the Church in a society marked by the separation of Church and State.  Discussion will be in French, English and Luxemburgish. New parish group

We would like to start a Wednesday morning tea and chat group from 10-12 noon next month but we need some volunteers to join a rota to make the tea and coffee.  It only  involves arriving 15 minutes early to put on the urn!  Please contact the parish office if you are able to help.

Week of Accompanied Prayer

There will be an opportunity to take part in a week of accompanied prayer : March 10 to 16 2019. This is an opportunity to deepen your prayer life with the individual support of two experienced prayer guides who will be in Luxembourg that week. More details to follow.
