Bible Study Group Relaunch: An Enquiry – Last Call

Background

Last February, on the occasion of Lent, a Bible Study Group was launched.
It has been suspended by the pandemic.
It may be relaunched depending on the interest of the community.

 

What?

The aim of a Bible Study Group is to give members of our community an opportunity to read Scripture together, to know them better, to understand them better, and therefore to be better “prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have” (1P 3, 15).

 

How Often?

The new Bible Study Group would meet on a monthly basis.

 

How long?

Each session would last about 75 min, in any case no longer than 1 ½ hour.
The exact time will be agreed with those interested (18:30? 18:45? 19:00? …)

 

When?

Wednesday evening

 

Where?

Salle Saint Ignace – 23, Avenue Gaston Diderich (Belair)

 

Requirement

Pre-registration required by mail for each session.
It is not necessary to come to every session.

Act of Spiritual Communion EN/ IT

We have been receiving requests for the Act of Spiritual Communion which we pray each day at our online Mass.  Here it is in English, along with an Italian version (Thank you, Simonetta!)

Dear Guardian Angel, go for me to the church;
there kneel down at Mass for me.
At the Offertory, take me to God and offer Him my service:
What I am, what I have, offer as my gift.      
At the Consecration, with your seraphic strength,
adore my Saviour truly present, praying for those who have loved me,
for those who have offended me, and for those now deceased,
that the blood of Jesus may purify them all.
During Holy Communion bring me the Body and Blood of Jesus
uniting Him with me in spirit, so that my heart may become His dwelling place.
Plead with Him; that through His sacrifice all people throughout the world may be saved. When the Mass ends, bring home to me and to every home, the Lord’s blessing. Amen.
 
Preghiera all’Angelo Custode

Caro Angelo Custode, vola in chiesa al posto mio e inginocchiati al posto mio a Messa.
All’Offertorio, portami  davanti al Signore e offri a Lui i miei servigi: quel che sono, quel che possiedo,  offrilo in dono.
Alla Consacrazione, con la tua forza serafica, adora il mio Salvatore realmente presente, pregando per coloro che mi hanno amato, che mi hanno offeso, e per coloro che ci hanno lasciati, che il sangue di Cristo li purifichi tutti.
Durante la Santa Comunione, portami il Corpo e il Sangue di Gesù, unendolo a me in spirito cosí che il mio cuore possa diventare la Sua dimora.
Intercedi presso di Lui affiché tramite il Suo sacrificio, tutte le persone al mondo siano redente.
Quando la Messa sarà finita, porta a me e a ciascuno, la benedizione del Signore. Amen
