Does God help us or make our lives difficult?
In today’s Gospel story, Jesus thanks God for helping him and helping us.
He says that we should learn from him.
And the best thing? He says that it’s not clever grown-ups who understand this, but children!
The Children’s Liturgy will be organised on Zoom today 5 July 2020 at 10:45 and again next Sunday 12 July at the same time. We will then take a break for the summer holidays in the hope of returning to a more normal situation in September.
How many hairs are there on your head? Do you know?
In today’s Gospel, we hear how well God knows each of us. He cares for us so much that we should never be afraid. We should be confident in our faith in God and share it with the world around us.
If you are joining the Children’s Liturgy by Zoom at 10:45, please bring a piece of paper and a white crayon or white candle to discover the message of today’s Gospel.

“I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats this bread, he will live for ever.”
This Sunday we celebrate the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ – “Corpus Christi”. Today’s Gospel reading helps us to understand how the bread shared at Mass is the Body of Christ.
If you are joining the Children’s Liturgy by Zoom at 10:45, please bring some bread (or similar) to eat together with the other children online.

At the beginning of Mass every Sunday, we say a short and special prayer:
“In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.“
Today is Trinity Sunday and we will learn more about what this means: three Persons in one God.
The Children’s Liturgy will take place today at 10:45 on Zoom.
The social distancing and sanitary requirements unfortunately do not yet allow us to recommence the Children’s Liturgy at St Alphonse in person.
If you are on the mailing list, you will already have received today’s Zoom link. If you are not and would like to join, please contact email@example.com. For further details, please click here.

In the Gospel today, Jesus tells his disciples that he will send them a helper… the Holy Spirit.
But who, what, where is the Holy Spirit?!
In today’s online Children’s Liturgy via Zoom, we will explore how the Holy Spirit helps us to be good followers of Jesus.
The online Children’s Liturgy is aimed at nursery- and primary-aged children. If you would like to register, please follow these instructions.
