The Bible and Life Basics: Land, Blood, Sex and Food

a 5 session course. Four of the most basic issues in life are:
Land: territory, garden, rooted-ness, boundary, exile, immigration, enviromental awareness, home, identity
Blood: taboo, purity, shame, medicine, phobia, ancestry, race, genes, identity
Sex: desire, love, bodies, temptation, guilt, delight, vulnerabilty, taboo, gender, culture, power, identity
Food: need, family, fellowship, labour, culture, health, science, taboo, taste, fair trade, identity

The course runs for the first five weeks of Lent: on Tuesdays at 8.00pm in the Anglican Vicarage, 89 rue de Muhlenbach, L-2168 Luxembourg. March 11, 18, 25, April 1, 8.
