Easter attacks in Sri Lanka

Fr Ed writing:
One of my Redemptorist confrères here at St Alphonse, P. Jude Kulas, is from Sri Lanka. I expressed to him my/our immense sadness and our our solidarity of spirit regarding the recent terrorist attacks in his country of origin, which cost over 300 lives. Many of those killed and injured were Christians, celebrating Easter. All people of good will condemn such inhuman acts and seek ways of living in peace and harmony with their neighbours.

We recently sent a message of sympathy and solidarity to the Muslim community in Luxembourg concerning the deadly attacks in Christchurch, New Zealand, and received a gracious response. I was gratified (and not surprised) when I saw on their website their condolences for the victims in Sri Lanka. We happily work together with all people who reject division, hatred, sectarianism and xenophobia — and commit ourselves continually to co-operation, unity, dialogue and peace.

Marriage preparation day May 2019

Planning on getting married in the next year or so?

Our marriage preparation team is running another course on Saturday 25 May at the Centre Jean XXIII in Kirchberg.   To obtain a registration form please contact the parish office by clicking here

This course is for couples preparing for marriage: it’s not about preparing you for the ceremony itself, but for the rest of your married life together. These days have been both popular and highly rated; input is given by trained Marriage Preparation presenters, and as couples you have an opportunity also to share your own experience of life together.
The course is for Catholic and non-Catholic partners.
Exceptionally (due to scheduling issues, for example) you can take the course after your church wedding. To cover costs, we ask €100 from each couple; if this is beyond your means, no problem — again, just get in touch. Refreshments and lunch are provided.
