To Brexit, or not to Brexit…?

The Archbishop of Canterbury has described the EU as: ‘the greatest dream realised for human beings’ for the last 1500 years ‘since the fall of the Western Roman Empire’. Yet Britain wants to leave……

Our parishioner Stephen McCarthy, together with John Speed, are holding an open meeting entitled: Deconstructing the Brexit Debacle: What role for the EU? at 7.00 pm on Tuesday June 19 at the Jean XXIII Centre.

Full details can be found here

This event will be of interest not only to the UK members of our parish community, but because of the wider issues it raises, to many others also.

Concert and Prayer

Next Sunday evening, as usual, we will have an hour of Eucharistic adoration beginning at 18:00, leading into our Mass at 19:00. This time we are privileged to welcome the Liturgical Polyphonic Choir of the shrine of the Divine Mercy, Vilnius, who will accompany our time of prayer, and will also sing during the Mass. This is a rare chance to enjoy beautiful spiritual music in the context of the liturgy — we hear beautiful music, which lifts our hearts and minds to God. Entry free, (free-will collection, CDs available).

Not to be missed!

Outdoor Mass & BBQ 2018

It’s that time of year again when we imagine there might be a sunny Sunday in Luxembourg where we can risk an outdoor Mass and barbecue… and so, please mark in your diary Sunday 1st July 2018 in the garden of Archbishop’s House, Avenue Marie Thérèse. Whatever the weather, we will be gathering to celebrate Mass together and to share food and fun.

This annual event is always memorable. Single people and families especially welcome and everyone else especially welcome also!  More details to follow — but do reserve the date.
