Tomorrow, Wednesday 16th October, marks the 2nd anniversary of Daphne Caruana Galizia, the Maltese investigative journalist murdered because of her work. Members of the Maltese community in Luxembourg and friends are holding a vigil tomorrow, Wednesday, at 19:00 in the courtyard in front of the main door of St Alphonse church, rue des Capucins. All are welcome to come and remember Daphne and her journalistic efforts for justice, and how she paid the ultimate price. RIP.

Planting trees across the whole world is the most effective way to combat climate change. Would you like to be involved in a local tree-planting activity here in Luxembourg? Then come to a meeting on 20 October after the 11.15 Mass in the Monastery – room 11 A/B just inside the door from the car park. Everyone invited but young people are particularly welcome.

If you have arrived in the parish in recent months you are invited to attend this informal event on Sunday 20 October after the 11.15 Mass.  It is an opportunity to meet members of the Pastoral Council and Sub-Committees.  It will be held in the Garden Room in the courtyard at the back of St Alphonse.
