Our Mass for St Patrick’s Day this year will be on Thursday 16th March at 19:30, followed by refreshments in church. More details to follow.

This Wednesday is Ash Wednesday, marking the beginning of Lent. Masses in St Alphonse are as follows:

 The only Mass in English, with imposition of ashes, will be at 19:00.

Other Masses at St Alphonse: 07:30 (DE), 12:15 (FR) & 18:15 (FR). All, with imposition of ashes.

All are warmly invited. If you’re a practicing Catholic, welcome; if you’re a non-practicing Catholic, welcome. If you just want to receive ashes, welcome!

Due to the building works Christian Meditation has changed time and venue. From Wednesday Feb.22nd until further notice it will take place in the monastery garden meeting room (rue des Bains) on Wednesdays at 6.30. All welcome of all faiths and none.

Some months ago we launched a Catholic, Single and Willing to Mingle group, which met a couple of times, but fizzled out as it was up to me to do the organising — and as you know this is not one of my chief strengths. However, interest in the group has been constant, and the group will re-launch this Sunday, 19th February, under new management. If you are interested, come along to the Parish Meeting Room in the garden/parking of St Alphonse after the 11:15 Mass (ie. 12:30). All welcome.
