CHRISTIAN MEDITATION

There is a change of venue for Christian Meditation this week (Tuesday 13th January, 18:30). The meeting will be in the Catechesis room (in the church, to the right of the altar). Entrance can be via the church until 18:45, or directly from the Place de Théâtre. The parking at St Alphonse will be open as usual — but can the last driver to leave please close the large gates (no key needed).

The usual room is being used for a large meeting. Normal service will resume on Tuesday 20 January.

HEALING OF MEMORIES

Michael Lapsley is an Anglican priest and founder of the Institute for Healing of Memories in South Africa. Michael will be giving a workshop on the subject of healing of memories from 27 February – 1 March this year, in Hosingen. The workshop will be given in English, French and Luxembourgish. The deadline for registration is 20 January.

WORLD DAY FOR MIGRANTS AND REFUGEES

On Sunday 18th January, the Church celebrates the 101st World Day for Migrants and Refugees. There will be a Mass in the cathedral to mark this occasion, on 18th January at 18:00 — all are welcome (music rehearsal at 17:00 for those who wish to participate in the choir). FHC CLASSES RESUME

Our preparation programme for First Holy Communion resumes this coming Sunday, 11 January, at 10am in the parish meeting room (in the garden/parking at St Alphonse. Looking forward to seeing all candidates there! Any absences by agreement with the course leaders, please.
