I have received an appeal for legal advice in the area of employment law here in Luxembourg. A member of one of the other linguistic communities believes they have been unjustly dealt with by their employer, and need general advice on whether or not they might have a case to bring. This year we have constructed the crèche at St Alphonse using the figures of the Holy Family rediscovered last year. The theme of the tableau, situated in front of the main altar, is ‘Crib, Cross & Eucharist‘ — three themes linked in the writings of St Alphonse himself. The leaflet for the crèche can be found here in English, here in French, here in Italian and here in Spanish. Our Portuguese and German translators are already on holiday!
