Erny Gillen, until recently the Vicaire Generale of the archdiocese has published a book in support of Pope Francis’ critique of the Roman Curia (the Church’s central government). The book, available online and shortly to be released in a paper edition, offers suggestions as to how the Curia might be reformed. A full account of the book, of the reasoning behind it, and how to obtain it, can be found in the Wort online English-language edition.
How a Pope might treat Curial Diseases can be downloaded as an eBook (in English, German or Spanish) from Amazon — details here.
Fr Gillen’s reflections will no doubt be of interest to many people in our parish (I hope to have it myself soon), and should be well worth a read.
